The Museum of Northern Arizona is a must visit if you are interested in the Native American Culture, history and art of Northern Arizona and the Colorado Plateau.
Visitors to MNA can view exhibits relating to the Museum’s four main disciplines: anthropology, biology, geology, and fine art. The Museum has permanent exhibits in five galleries and changing exhibits in three additional galleries.
At MNA’s four weekend-long annual festivals, explore the rich heritage of northern Arizona and the Four Corners Region. Meet Native artists, performers, ethnobotanists and culture interpreters. Enjoy stories, dances and songs, and attend Heritage Insight programs to learn more about the Colorado Plateau. Festivals for 2013 include the Zuni Festival (May 25-26), Hopi Festival (July 6-7), Navajo Festival (August 3-4) and Celebraciónes de la Gente (October 26-27).
